Be gone to you old
man winter, finally gone!
Bring on the bird songs.

You tested us with
your cold embrace, ice, and snow.
You put on a show.

But Spring, fast on your
heels will show you to the door!
Bringing sunny days.

Spring will restore life
to flower, trees, you and me;
which fills me with glee!
