Describing the flute.

the Flute

by poetwatch

I want to feel your lips
Blowing softly into my soul,
The head joint by my crown.
Am I coming loud and clear, my dear?
Slowly, place your fingers
on my keys,
the middle joint is fine.
Let then slide up and down.
Yes! Can you feel it?!
That surging sound as waves
Of harmonics lap the shore.
Like a pole-vault dancer
Raise me high in the air
And let our music fill the sky.
We're almost there,
The ending is close.
As we reach the realm
Of no return,
Everything is silent.
It is just you and me,
At the foot,
Filling the room
With love.

I need to catch up in my free verse writing. :) I come from everywhere with you on my mind. So smile, let's play music together.
Parts of the flute: the head joint, the crown, the middle joint, the keys, the foot. :)
