Tears of Sadness

The emotional pain of sadness
replaces the feelings of gladness;
when hearts break, it brings forth the madness
and leaves one to cry tears of sadness.

When you're sad, the world always seems cruel,
and no typical magical tool
can mend a broken-hearted old fool;
without gladness, life does seem so cruel.

With a romantic loss comes pure tears;
it can last even several years.
It can force you to face all your fears
when you're lost in your sorrowful tears.
