Snowflake (A Snowman's Saga)

by Mystic Angel 7777

Six little snowmen stood vigil in the night;
Nodding off, one soon blew off, by frigid, windy might.
Only five will now survive beside the infant king;
Wise men will watch, another lost, as holy angels sing.
Four little snowmen are shivering in fear,
Longing for salvation’s grace to speedily draw near.
All at once, two more succumb to world’s dark, evil heat.
Keeping tiny baby safe, last two will wait; a shepherds’ host to greet.
Each sacrifice throughout the night, makes
sovereignty complete.

Writing Prompt
Write a nice Christmas poem for Children, Spelling the word in the title for Example:

Snow falls down in a flutter,
Not landing in a muddy gutter,
Or pavements where people tread,
When Christmas arrives cheer spreads,
Fun and games are soon at hand,
Love spreading around in strands,
And people love the merry joy,
Knowing Santa comes and brings you a toy,
Everyone is all Merry so break open the lovely sherry.
