A Kyrielle Entry

Caught in Time

by June Sargent

Warm months have passed and winter's here
with temperatures so severe,
recalling images sublime.
Moments caught in the stream of time.

A honeybee came buzzing  by
one summer 'cross the bright blue sky,
just dancing to his own sweet rhyme.
Moments caught in the stream of time.

His mission to collect more gold
compelled him to act quick and bold,
impressing ladies in his prime.
Moments caught in the stream of time.

Adjusting the lens, I took aim
with single purpose to freeze frame.
Time frozen,  clock will never chime.
Moments caught in the stream of time.
