I have had normal crushes before
But this time it isn't the case
I finally found that magical feeling
When I first saw my grandson's face.

Huge dark eyes, a big happy smile
Dimples adorning his face
Laughing and babbling, telling us stories
Cuddling into his Grandma's embrace.

I bury my face in his tummy
He laughs and grabs my hair
Then I see the look on his little face
And I know he's happy I'm there.

He is four months old and trying to crawl
I watch him with grandmother pride
And I can't remember a time in my life
When I had such strong feelings inside.
