Lamps give us light
when it's dark at night.
The sun is our lamp
during the day.

Our souls are a lamp
that light our lives,
shiny and bright though
it be day or night.

When our soul is dark
because of loss,
God lights our lamps
and holds us close.

New energy comes
then I can see,
because of the light
that shines in me.
