A Christmas Poem...

Christmas Time Again

by Diana L Crawford

Silver bells and mistletoes
Twinkling lights and big red bows
Sugar plums and candy canes
Carols, dolls and small toy trains

Tonight we make the popcorn string
We decorate the tree and bring
The tinsel strands of silver, gold
Then Grandma reads the tales of old

Like Rudolph, Santa and the elves
From precious books kept on the shelves
To please the little ones so dear
With stories of mankind’s good cheer

Beside the fireplace so warm
She tells the story to inform
The little ones of Jesus’ birth
So they will grow to know their worth
