Holly Berries

by Dolly'sPoems

Hints of red, they belong,
On a bright snowy day,
Leaves of green add a seasonal touch.
Little birds sing a song,
Yet it may not be May,
Berries draw in the birds for their lunch.
Every day, play prolonged,
Red and ripe on display.
Robin dives in for tastes that are lush.
Indigestion not long
Extra poop won’t delay,
Splashing out in a redberry flush!
