Mockingbird attacks usually consist of swoops, pecks, dives and chases. In the spring and summer birds establish territories, build nests, and rear young. This is the time for most bird attacks. The birds are simply trying to protect their homes, mates, and young just as any of us would do for our family. [www.felid.org]
