(The Twin Blue Spruce Topper!)

"Once Upon a Time...
"And, a long, long, time ago...
"Within the Spector of My Mind."
"I had a Dream!"
"Long before Martin Luther King."
...
"The year was 1963 and I wanted a son like to Hero Jason from the movie...
"Jason and the Argonauts!"
...
"Now a couple decades past and the children came."
"The first two were Gifts."
(Two stepdaughters)
"But the last Three?"
"Were make pretend?"
...
"They grow like weeds and each and every one had their own particular needs."
"Girl, Girl, Girl, Boy, and Girl!"
"I attended their events and gathered them along...
(As if playing an old song)
"And, they all grew...
"As time went along...
"Strong!"
...
"I always liked Blue Spruces and decided my front lawn needed one."
"And, a little more tender care."
"So, I travel to the local Garden Center."

"And, I purchased just the right one."
...
"I planted it right on the front of my lawn to watch it grow tall?"
"And watch it grow strong to watch the bird's nest there and do and absorbs the sun with Care."

"Now, Fate and Destiny came calling on the Summer of 1990."
"And yes, it was quite hot!"
"Hot enough to make a soda pop!"

"So, with plenty of kids complaining, I sprinkled them with plenty of cool well water."
(One Son and four daughters!)
"Instead of watering the grass...

"Yes, the children cooled off and you could see them jumping all over!"
"Over and over again but one day...
"They decided to jump theBlue Spruce and Jason's little friend Brandon...
"Snapped the Top right off of the Spruce!"
(No excuse!(

"Now what to do?"
"It was as if Fate and Destiny came calling again?"
"But, I had a plan!"

"To take the longer, and, lower Branch...
"And, gently tie it up!"
"Walah!"
"A new topper to share?"
...
"Even though it was a little awkward, it needed to be moved to a more safer location."
"So, I decided the left corner of the house...
(Protected with partial shade)
Yes, this broken Blue Spruce needed a second chance."
...
"Thirty-Five years came and went and the tree had hosted many birds."
"From Blue Jay, Robin, to Dove."
(All Gifts from Above)
"I would gently place a ladder up and take a small view "

"Yes, and that little tree?"
"With the hacked off The?"
"Today is now a Full and Majestic Blue Spruce!"
"Shading the side of the house."
...
"And, I would prune the brown pine needles and watch the new set come in each Autumn."

"I don't live there anymore and Brandon is well into his 30s and a grown man."
"As for my Only Son Jason?"
"Well, He passed away a long time ago too and I would look at that Blue Spruce...
"Which I dedicated to my Son Jay...
....
"And, realized that the top?"
"The original top grew back in but it took many, many, years."
"And today?"
"It's over twenty-five fewt tall and now there's two toppers!"
Yes, and that tree dedicated to Jay...
"For all to view...
