I am starting with the Royalty, who had a passion and did ration the color purple.
Those were the stodgie and eminent body that controlled
the commerce, to limit these colors purple, to just a handful of sovereigns.
Imperial Purple, Sovereign Purple, Royal Purple, Eminence and Purple Mountain Majesty.

I could not fail to write into and display
the purple elite that the Military chooses to keep,
The Pomp and Power purples:
Pearly Purple, Deep Ruby, Amethyst, and Purple Heart.

As we go along with the story of purple being told
We must remember those crucial people in Old Roman.
There the next shades of purple laid claim to the titled lands
upon which major battles were waged, a Byzantine, Byzantium,
Dark Byzantium, Palatinate Purple and in the setting sun
with grape fields galore, Deep Tuscan
