Of this and more, you are mine

Breath of Life

Pleasure’s gasp
ripped ‘midst molten embrace ~
love’s soul reaches for life’s assurance
 
Pained whimper
released ‘tween tortured tears ~
misery’s delicate song declared
 
Peaceful sigh
echoes ‘round our hushed room ~
heart's serenity fills quiet’s cup
