FanStory has truly challenge me Expanded my writing horizons beyond What my dabbling with words used to be   I wrote short stories or an occasional poem Never thought of senryu or sedoka poetry Neither flash fiction nor the task of a six-word tome   Love the haiku 5-7-5 and various variations FanStory stretches my imagination and enlarges Awareness with feelings and phrase gyrations   Now visioning ability and sense sensitivity do erupt My vocabulary has wonderfully grown and my Muse comes through most times when I’m stuck   I listen for phrases whenever I hear talk Smells and sights are jotted down in a Notebook when I take a contemplative walk   Since I joined FanStory my writing life has nicely expanded Filled with new observations, impressions and perceptions Thankful, I don’t face the task of proofreading single-handed
