Floral Frocks

Buds bulge and burst forth –
symphony of bold display,
noted in the air.
 
Such abundant blooms!
Magnificent magnolia –
breeze bends the branches.
 
Ladies are strolling,
flushed faces admire flowers
clustered together.
 
Swaying in sunshine,
so pretty in pink and white.
New life is surging.
 
Here’s the thing with spring –
out with the old and the cold.
Time for floral frocks!

Author's Note:
It's Springtime down here! Lovely warm days, flowers in abundance, and now that we are on Daylight Saving time we are able to enjoy longer evening light. I went for a walk in our city Botanic Garden to see the magnolias. Blooming gorgeous!
