My Yankees

The Yankees are my team,
World Series 28 dream.
Hitting homers every day,
Scoring runs in every way.
Pitching is the best,
Above all the rest.
Defense is very strong,
Literally does no wrong.
Swept to division champ,
Next stop the pennant stamp.
A World Series year,
Winners, have no fear.

I am a lifelong NYY fan. They swept the ALDS 3-0. Next the AL Pennant. Finally on to World Series for team win 28.
