Cheater

by Brett Matthew West

Cheater

You're a cheater, not a keeper. Tore apart our happy home
He took your hand and led you astray and taught you how to roam
I don't wish you well. May you roast in hell! My love for you is gone
You're a cheater, not a keeper. It's time that you move on

You took my ring off your hand and threw our love into the can
Did you find what you looked for in the arms of another man
Motel rooms and rendezvous lure you when you are out on the town
And the fur will fly now that the wall has come tumblin' down

Don't look at me with big, fat lies you're a game that I won't play
I see the truth in your eyes, there's no way I would let you stay
You gave into lust that destroyed us, you're not fit to be my wife
So go and pack your things and get the hell out of my life

You're a cheater, not a keeper. Tore apart our happy home
He took your hand and led you astray, and taught you how to roam
I don't wish you well. May you roast in hell! My love for you is gone
You're a cheater, not a keeper. It's time that you move on
