Maybe Next Time

Such flirting from a man so blue,
and what is with your jew'led-up do?
I find it difficult to think,
when all your glinting makes me blink!
 
Perhaps a bit less gold ‘round here,
and it’d be nice to see an ear.
I’m trying hard to concentrate,
but I can barely see your face!
 
I'll give you this, as a designer,
  you've done great with your eye liner –
A lot like mine, but, still, it works.
  Guess we’ll count that among your perks.
 
You’ve got a really great physique,
but I’ve just had a trying week.
Let’s leave it as ‘it’s me, not you’…
 
…Ummm, did I mention you were blue??

"jew'led-up do" -- a hairdo with jewels, etc. You may also hear the terms 'messed-up do' and 'punked-up do' and, yes, to my chagrin, 'effed-up do'..... and, they really do say "eff" and not the word, but, of course, it is implied. I'll let y'all decipher the meaning of each... :) ;) ;)

Sooooo.... this was fun and a great way to let off some stress. I welcome any and all comments as long as those comments DO NOT include an excuse as to why your TEENAGE student does not have his or her homework finished as assigned.... ugh. :) :) Smile...I am!! ;) ;) Thank you for reading me! :) :)
