Each time I infuse the muse in my mind
Creative voices speak to me
While streaming my conscious I see
A visual cue of how life could be

Over the years, I have learned how to rhyme
Choose wisely an ideal phrase
Write quick while the memory stays
Then gently place words in mosaic ways

More than a 'hobby', or pastime of mine
Cash earned-I give to charities
This way I can write what I please
I've no need for fortune, fame or prestige

Never thought I would ever be this kind
Revealing depths of emotion
Writing is my avocation
I lavish it with love and devotion
