holiday romance

by judester

She smiled at the man,
coyly gave him a wink.
He sidled over
and bought her a drink.

He was so handsome,
witty and sweet,
this giggling tourist
was swept off her feet.

Hmm, holiday romance,
she mused, with a grin.
She was entranced,
by this man and the gin.

Later that evening,
they left, holding hands,
strolled by the ocean
on soft, velvet sands.

She then glanced behind her,
screamed, clutched her throat,
alongside her footprints ~
hooved prints of a goat.
