I live in Del Paso Heights, a suburb in N Sacramento California in a modest two bedroom house set back in a gated alcove.
There's plenty of shade with a canopy of various trees overhead.  It is a quiet, peaceful and safe environment.

I live with my roommates Terry and his wife Jasmine. Terry is a tall, sturdy ex Sprint Car Racer, and his wife is a quiet dignified woman with glowing white hair. Sure we've had our ups and downs in the eventful, at times dramatic, and productive year of life here since May 2018.
 However we have reached a wonderful equilibrium as we have learned and grown together. Shortly after I moved in, I wrote about my life-

Friends To Family

We are here, together now
thrown into this dwelling
we figure where and how,
 with our senses telling

~that~

We are here, to do our best
to plant and nurture the seed
for this is all an earthly test,
which we are learning to succeed

After all is said, in the end-
we will surely see
what started out as friends,
are now  a family

Thanks for being there for me,
This is for my new roommates,
Terry and Jasmine

Ricky lives in D with his petit, warm red-haired wife Mary.  He is a stocky, muscular hard worker that maintains the properties for the owner. They are both very cordial and helpful.

I work downtown at Q and 13th  Streets,and I find it easy to commute with my bicycle and the local RT Metro train. I catch the train here in
Del Paso Heights at the
Marconi Arcade station, and ride around downtown  to 13th Street,  The whole trip taking about 22 minutes. I work in a heavily trafficked area downtown and it is not uncommon for people to come up and steal bikes or Parts off of them in broad daylight. It doesn't matter what kind of lock you have on it, as I had a sturdy U lock on my bike when it got stolen. I reported this theft to Ricky, and he put together and gave me another bike. The next day when I offered twenty dollars  for it he politely refused!

I have been a professional musician since the age of 16 playing the guitar, harmonica, and keyboard. When Ricky found out I play guitar, he showed me his guitar which ironically enough was the same brand is mine, Cort.
I offered to clean his guitar up and restring it, as I had some extra strings. I did and returned it to a friend of theirs, as Ricky had already retired for the evening.
A couple of months went by, and one day I was riding across town on my bike.  A car cut me off causing me to ram my guitar which was on the handlebars into a telephone pole.
I  feared the worst!   Sure enough when I stopped to inspect the danage, I noticed that the headstock was broke completely off.  It was a horrible tragedy.
I took the guitar home in pieces and announced my tale of woe to my listeners.

if you are familiar with Paul Harvey, here is the rest of the story. . . .

Two days before I broke my guitar, Ricky had found a "Sunshine"  guitar in one of the properties, just left behind by somebody. He gave it to me and asked me to clean it up and restring it, like i had done with his ax.
After doing so he was already retired for the evening, so I left it at his house.
The next day when I broke my guitar, he gave the Sunshine guitar to me and stated dramatucally,
"My house isn't big enough for two       guitars"

I confidently declare that the evidence points toward more than just a mere coincidence~

Thanks to Google for the image, God for the evidence, and my many wonderful reviewers for their help and proofreading.

Ax - Slang for guitar

Paul Harvey is a famous radio personality who tells stories which turn out to be about well-known or famous people. His trademark is to tell an interesting story, and then for the Clincher you find out who it is about and he says with melodramatic conviction,
"Now you know the rest of the story"

Ecclesiastes
3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
3:2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;
3:3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
3:4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
3:5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
3:6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
3:7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
3:8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.
