A teeny tiny rhymed poem

Another of Life's Puzzles

Why do spiders spin their webs
in inconvenient places?
And how come we don't know they're there
'til they're stuck to our faces?!

If anyone knows why, please enlighten me!

I walked into three spider webs on my way to work this morning - I didn't see any of them, just felt them cling to my face...Yuck!
