Praise Nature!

by RodG

Come praise Ma Nature's handiwork today:
The rose's elegance, its perfect bud,
And tilting trumpets of the daffodils
That bussed by April's balmy breezes sway.
Those paint-washed cirrus clouds which slowly scud
Across the turquoise skies as towhee trills.

Praise, too, the artisan of swale and knoll,
lush-carpeted in blooms, a festive flood
of color, pungent scent that swiftly fills
the room and brightens spirits, thrills one's soul.
Praise Nature's skills!
