A Cascade Poem

Open Hearts

When we fully open our hearts
allowing trust to replace fear,
love will always find its way home.

Like a butterfly to nectar
a sweet disposition attracts,
when we fully open our hearts.

With faces to the sun we bloom.
We absorb all the good in life,
allowing trust to replace fear.

If we freely give of ourselves
expecting nothing in return,
love will always find its way home.
