A Rhymed Whitney
A chapter in the book NaPoWriMo 2019
Peas
by Debra White
Planting peas with Ben today - Suddenly he turned to say, that he'd try our home-grown peas. Then he winked...the little tease! |
Our 13 year old son Ben, is a tease, a torment and has vegephobia!
I enjoyed a lovely afternoon in the garden with the whole family today. Between us, we planted peas, sprouts, cabbages, beetroots and more beans and we also (or should I say the girls and Shaun!) made a bug hotel and a wooden maze for the guinea pigs! It's been so nice :)
A Whitney is a seven line poem with a syllable count of 3/4/3/4/3/4/7 respectively.
