Love Motif

Robert strolled along the Seine to meet Lise. A cold wind blew off the steely grey water.
Would Lise be on time? It irked him when she was late. She was late a lot recently. His phone pinged.
Rob... not tonite.. working on my heart ..joke!...for med exam, of course. Bisous Lise.
Parisians ambled along the quays.
A young woman caught his attention. Her yellow jacket looked familiar, heart motif on the back. Lise's heart motif.
Her arm was entwined with a young man. Occasionally they stopped to steal a kiss.
'Lovelorn in the city of love,' he sighed.
