Christians Awake

It lays heavy on my heart
how casual Salvation is taken
these days
it is not a game
of maybe
serious business is at hand
this is our final fate

"If ye love me.
Keep my commandments"
John 14:15
John 3:16 is the beginning
perhaps too much
political correctness is
seeping into our Faith
maybe some Hell fire
and brimstone is again needed
to wake the sheeple

The Lords prayer
rarely heard in churches
given us by the Lord
the perfect prayer
but
people in their ego state
think they can do better
as they mumble their
offerings up
of course make personal pleas
and don't forget praise
but please
make His prayer a part
of services

I worry about
so many I love
I say the Sabbath is Saturday
"I like it the way it is now."
is the casual reply
it is written in His word
seems not to satisfy
God did Not change the day
man did
it is the Fourth Commandment

Hark dear people
hard times are ahead
make sure you are prepared
your Faith is cemented in
following Christ is a daily
challenge
and not easy
in this sin filled world
but
the rewards are great

The Holy Spirit
the companion
He left us with
will guide in His wisdom
if we will only welcome
Him into our hearts
the changes this can make
often are astounding
miracles
