Declaration of love
Five hundred miles
by Heather Knight
He said he would walk 500 miles to wake up next to me. I heard it loud and clear. And I have witnesses.
He said he wanted to grow old with me. He told me he dreamt of the time when he was with me.
So did he lie then?
I don't understand what happened.
One moment he was proclaiming his love for me, the next moment he was calling the police and saying I was a stalker.
'Young lady, he wasn't talking to you. It was a concert. He was just singing a traditional song,' the officer said as he took me away.
'But he was looking at me. He was looking right into my eyes,' I wailed.
