What beautiful sights my eyes do see.
The Lord was here way before me.
He colored the flowers and planted the trees.
He put the sweet scent in the soft summer breeze.
He put the waters where they now stand,
He changes the shape of the drifting sands.
He painted the sky a peaceful blue,
He heated the sun to warm me and you.
He hung the moon to light the night.
He gave the stars their twinkling light.
He made man and woman to enjoy these things.
Oh! what joy and beauty our Lord brings.
