How rich you have made my life...

Love Letter to Father, Son & Holy

by Artasylum

When the race began,
it was anyone's game.
Your heart burns hot;
it's a budding flame.

Your unflinching confidence
prevails with palpable courage.
Your penchant for excellence
will not be discouraged.

A thoroughbred, You’re cloaked
in a most uncommon coat.
Never do You show fear
or entertain fickle hope.

Lesser folk cast aspersions;
hurling sinister trials Your way.
You rise above the malevolence;
fates favor You today.

Such a blessing to know
a wiser force guides me.
Dissolving darkness,
I surmount limits to be free.

Daily, I try to control my life;
cursing and kicking, on my knees.
I make selfish demands that
raucous rants set me free.

You teach me how to understand,
to believe in myself with perfect grace.
My natural and magical love for You
renews my flickering faith.
