Excellent
Not yet exceptional. When the exceptional rating is reached this is highlighted
I started with a bag phone. It seemed harmless enough...

Cell: A Prison Without Bars

by Reese Turner

More intoxicating than life in a bar
Is our new best friend, phone cellular!
We can’t leave our house now without it
If it’s just in the next room, we fret about it.
Having dinner with friends or even a lover
We still check our phones; what to discover?
A call, a text or e-mail, what can ever be
So important we must peruse so urgently?
In public toilets, yep, it’s exactly the same;
No rest in restrooms from chat; how lame!
I’ve seen tables of people out in a pub
Together, but each giving their screen a rub.
Why is it we now ignore those in view
To opine or explore or whatever we do?
And the young, my goodness, I’m perplexed!
Once we plotted to get close, now they text?
Is there a cellular warmth, a cell phone feel
That replaces real people? What is the deal?
Some say, our culture, due cells, slips away,
But, as long as there’s service, we’ll be O.K.
Are you saying, “Me thinks he protest too much?’
You’re right. I’m lost if my cell’s out of touch!
