Rise Above / Brighter Days

by Badger_29

"All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players; They have their exits and their entrances" William Shakespeare

~+~

After you are born,
 you will live learn, and grow
But be forewarned-that
   the more you know

Will cause you to be more aware
of everything around you
Then, you will begin to care
a bit more
for those that are found to-

Wonder about exactly how
we should react
to each situation
 As you gain a greater grasp now,
 about the direct relation

Ship between your sphere,
and all and which you interact
 This I declare, loud and clear:
 you should learn and utilize tact!

As you become more mature,
 learning what to expect-
 be careful not to get lured
into one of many deceptive nets!

They will tempt you
with alluring things,
 or simply waste your time
You direct what the future brings, so, for sound advice
search my rhyme-

In situations of struggle and strife,
you must learn to rise above-
To prepare, expect a turbulent life-
and treat all with love

So if your anger is rising ,
breathe, and relax your hands
 Your actions will be surprising,
and these "actors" will understand

That you represent peace,
not angst and confusion
As they become "unbent"
they will seek you for solutions

For we all have potential-
for positive networking
 This quality is essential,
 to those who aren't shirking

Their profound responsibility
to act in  professional ways
 Read between the lines, you'll see
more contentment in your days!

Try harder,
Do more.
Say less.

Don't barter
with bores;
or idleness

The more you accomplsh,
the greater your esteem
And the people will wish,
to play a role in your dreams

So go forth and make
ammends and friends!
It is but a  blink,
then this scene ends.

You do not know,
as it happens so fast-
So as you go,
live each day as your last!

Don't be redundant,
be responsible.
share your abundance,
and your cup will be full

As it flows on
 those around you-
they will be fond
and you will found to

Have left your mark,
and will be remembered
as a spark in the dark,
a productive member

Of Mankind.
So, please be tender,
thoughtful,

and mind-
ful of the past,
cognicent of
the present, and
contingent about
the future

Contingent, taking "everything" into consideration, and hoping for the best but planning for the worst.

By "actors", I am referring to:

Speech:
All the world's a stage
BY WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE
(from As You Like It, spoken by Jaques)

All the world's a stage,
And all the men and women merely players;
They have their exits and their entrances;
And one man in his time plays many parts,
His acts being seven ages. At first the infant,
Mewling and puking in the nurse's arms;
And then the whining school-boy, with his satchel
And shining morning face, creeping like snail
Unwillingly to school. And then the lover,
Sighing like furnace, with a woeful balla
Made to his mistress eyebrow. Then a soldier,
Full of strange oaths, and bearded like the pard,
Jealous in honour, sudden and quick in quarrel,
Seeking the bubble reputation
Even in the cannon mouth. And then the justice,
In fair round belly with good capon lin;
With eyes severe and beard of formal cut,
Full of wise saws and modern instances;
And so he plays his part. The sixth age shifts
Into the lean and slipper'd pantaloon,
With spectacles on nose and pouch on side;
His youthful hose, well sav'd, a world too wide
For his shrunk shank; and his big manly voice,
Turning again toward childish treble, pipes
And whistles in his sound. Last scene of all,
That ends this strange eventful history,
Is second childishness and mere oblivion;
Sans teeth, sans eyes, sans taste, sans everything.
Pays one point and 2 member cents.
