I love you

by Sally Law

I love you~

I love you in the morning when the coffee fills the air;
I love you in the noonday, strolling at the fair;
I love you in the sacred hour, resting without a care.

I love you in my darkest night,

I love you when my jeans are tight,

I love you when I have great gold,

I love you when I'm feeling old,

I love you when my hair's a fright,

I love you with my great delight.

I love you now and I'll love you then,

given a chance, I'd do it again.

I've loved you forever and plain to see,

you're the only one for me.

I love you....

My lifetime love and I on our second date. We stopped in the shade for a selfie. I snapped this with my Kodak camera, took the roll film to the drugstore photoshop and picked the pictures up a week later. Remember those days? Photo my own, dated May 1972.

Special thanks to WalkerMan and my husband, Jack, with posting this video.
