Thirty-three Years Together

by Bill Schott

Dear Kathy and Bill,
Often at thirty-three years,
due to the trials and tribulations
gone through across decades of marriage,
it's difficult to find couples who are
not simply holding on to a relationship;
going mad.

Pity those people
overcome with
their failings and
shortcomings.

Anniversaries neither reward marriage
nor
deny its application.

Primarily, you simply say again
and again, how much you enjoy and
need each other.
So, Happy Valentines Day and 33rd Anniversary!!
