A Kyrielle Entry

Undersea Fantasy

by June Sargent

Let's dive into another world
to see what lies beneath the sea.
We'll look for treasures gilt and pearled.
So, won't you please explore with me?

We'll challenge dolphins to a race
or seize the opportunity
to kiss a mermaid's flirty face.
So won't you please explore with me?

Discover where sea serpents sleep -
a greater thrill there could not be -
to jab at tentacles that creep.
So, won't you please explore with me?

Adventures could then fill a book
when we return from our journey.
But first we must go have a look.
So, won't you please explore with me?
