Inside my head.
What I was looking forward to ahead.
So many things to do weighing down like lead.
Excited to do everything and nothing instead.
I looked at my list and read.
Then suddenly it felt like I was dangling by a thread.
Strategized ways not to feel heavy as lead.
I stopped sleeping long nights in bed.
One day I started to search for ways to earn my bread.
Prioritizing was the way to get fed.
Not the snow storm of activities to tread.
Now it's all down hill in my inner sled.
