I love birds. I think Bald Eagles are so majestic. They are also the national bird of my country, USA. They were severely endangered at one time but have made a recovery. I read about a fox who had caught a rabbit. As it was carrying its prey home to vixen and kits, a bald eagle swooped down and grabbed the rabbit with its claws. The fox hung on until it was ten feet in the air but then let go and the eagle left with the rabbit, I think. I could not tell if the eagle ended up with the rabbit or not. But, the fox was not hurt.
