This is a surreal poem, a dream poem, and the abstract, fragmented imagery is what I thought best to capture this sense of a dream that you can somewhat recall, but only in fragments. What's left is a sense of emotion; fear, tension, and hope. The struggle of life against the forces of nature, or the spiritual forces controlling nature.
