Our Mighty Father

Today and everyday, open your loving hands,
hold our Veterans gently, they suffered in many lands.

Spirits and bodies scattered by war,
now reunited in heaven to suffer no more.

Protect them as they protected us never to cease,
keep them near and let them enjoy your promised peace.

Let your face shine upon them, as we remember on earth,
all who served in honor,with love, observed by you high above.
