Adoption of a Grandchild
by dovemarie
I found a 10-year old boy in an orphanage. I adopted him, and his name was David, which means beloved. I learned to love children, after having worked with them off and on for several years, so I decided to adopt. We had great fun together, and he was well-behaved. He was the perfect jewel in the last cycle of my life. I loved him very dearly. When we got together, we became best friends. Thanks to Renate-Bertodi for artwork.

I'd like to be an adoptive grandparent - I'm in my 60s, but I feel as though I could handle a child that was a little older. This fiction story comes from my having lost my natural child in my 30s.
