Birthday 66

Another birthday celebrate, today I'm sixty six
Cannot turn back the hands of time, the date is always fixed.
I can't complain I'm still alive also I have my health
A lovely family and friends too, who make up all my wealth.

And as I age I do reflect upon my years gone by,
With fondness smile upon my life, I never question why.
I have been blessed with all good things this is my lot in life,
Grandmother, mother, sister, aunt, and yes my husband's wife.

I could not ask for any more for I have got it all
My health, my work, and lots of love, on me they do befall.
I live with freedom every day, so lucky to have that
My house a home I will not leave, I'm glad it's where I'm at.

So on this day I'm thankful for just how my life's evolved,
And share with you this next birthday in poem so it's told.
Good wishes had so many sent, a smile they bring to me
But now I close with love to all, from 'sixty six' Chrissy
