air ripe with a scent
scent of fallen leaves
leaves starting to ferment…

Ferment as the heartache,
heartache within grows
grows, blossoming pain
pain released through this prose…

Prose borne on chilling breeze
breeze twined with a prayer
prayer sent while breathing
breathing crisp cooling air.
