Life is a series of dreams and nightmares.
Reality brings choice for which we pay
Some people have problems, others no cares
Time divides this life into night and day

'Now' then becomes only a memory
Want and need are subjective ideas
Depending on contentment history
'Cannot have' often brings frustration tears

Freedom is self worth in light of no mate
are 'precursors" to behavior shown
Of all live things, only humans self-hate
Fears of life 'so just exist' start at home

We're given only the present of 'now'
It's wise to make good use of it somehow
