the happy gypsy

by judester

The little gypsy sat, in a field, beneath the stars.
Maybe he looked lonely,
but he was happy just to be.
The crackling fire that warmed his soul
made him feel at peace,
moonlit moving shadows,
beneath the swaying trees.
He chuckled to himself, turned to his old mare,
"How can I be lonely? Home is where I be."
