What Will Willie Do?

by michaelcahill

Why, Willie, Willie, will you. will you woo young Mary Lou?
And then what will she say if she says something said to you?
Does she make you silly, Willie, silly willy, does she Willie?
Willie, will she say, what she says that said makes you silly?

Are you walking funny wunny cause of rocks stuck in your shoe?
Are you tripping goofy slipping head long Willie is that you?
Are you bouncing on your head like you've become a pogo stick?
Are you talking foolish fiddle faddle-- is your tongue a feelin' thick?

Has your face turned bluish green while your eyes are turnin' red,
your hair caught fire your feet now lead and hanging over head?
… your knees all rubber, Willie, is your teeny brain green flubber;
does every cloud and all you dream of make you think of her?

Are the boys not very int'resting, their games of daring do do;
cause you can't stop thinking Mary, Mary, Mary, Mary Lou?
Willie, Willie, Willie, boy, the words come down from up above.
You'll never be the same again ... you've fallen down in love!
