The Dolphin

by sunnilicious

Clicks and whistles
Whistles and sounds

Dolphin, gray that swims in the sea,
With a dorsal fin and curve back,
Dives into the deep real carefree...
For a seafood buffet of snacks;
Cod, herring, squids, turtles and more...
Fishery scraps can be a bore.

Clicks and whistles
Whistles and sounds

Glides, squeals and twirls at the surface,
With its slick bottlenose cuteness,
That has a true sense of purpose
As it carries resoluteness:
High-pitched like a child,
A hippie --- roaming free and wild.

Clicks and whistles
Whistles and sounds
