I was very surprised to find such a large spider web in our backyard this morning. The sun shining through it made it especially beautiful, although my photography skills are somewhat lacking so I'm not sure I captured the true beauty of it.

Apparently, many spiders build their webs at night and take them down the next day only to rebuild again at nightfall. I wish I could have included the spider in the photo, but he (or perhaps she?) had disappeared.
