Lighthouses

All Lighthouses have flashing lights
Daytimes and nights
Submerged rocks threat
One challenge met

Ocean conditions can be poor
Strong storms galore
Currents' quick change
Dangerous range

History holds some disasters
Storms were masters
Small craft got tossed
Lives then were lost

Bright light rotates, to forwarn crews
Visual clues
Don't even try
To dock you'll die
