Note: Moths and Butterflies are members of and classified as 'Lepidoptera.'

The Butterflies are mostly to enjoy and take pictures of but ...

Firstly, the 'Friendlys!'
The 'Spinx Moth', 'Morning Cloak Butterfly', 'Tomato Horn Worm', and the 'Wooly Bear' (Tiger Moth Family)
Are my favorites!
The Spinx is by far the most beautiful with Beautiful, Blue, Wings!
While, 'The Tomato Hornworm' is the most interesting since it can literally devour and savour an entire tomato plant in less then a week!

But, there is relief gardeners?
'The Aracnid Wasp' Is constantly searching for these Big, Green, Monsters and when located?
They pucture the Hornworm's Hide.(numerous times)
Laying one egg with each prick to incubate?
Literally devouring the new host from the inside!

I also love and used to collect butterflies as a kid.
(My Insect Collection won praise when out Biology Teacher Ted Weeks assigned it.
My favorite butterfly is 'The Monarch Butterfly.
They actually migrate over sea to the United States by the hundreds of thousands!
The devour and enjoy the 'Milkweed Plant' when in the Larvae Stage where the then form a 'Crystilis!"
Beautiful green with yellow and black pearls around the edge.
(I got the pleasure to watch the 'Metamorphosis Stage.'
And,I was only eight!
And, after putting the caterpillar in a jar in the Laundry Room where it was warm.
A Beautiful and Incredible Blessing and Miracle to watch this creature hatch and it's small wings expand and come to life!
And yes, I released it.
Later when I get into Macro Photography at about age twenty four, I learned to snatch them up and put theme in the freezer for about a minute in order to pose it for a picture.

Note: Most caterpillars comouflage thrmselves and you seldom see these ones.
