A 75 word flash fiction
Peter Peter Where are you?
by Chrissy710
The waves crashed against the rocks, while Peter clung desperately onto the lifebuoy.
Spitting out salty water, gagging and gasping for air he thought, please find me soon.
The plane wreckage was strewn across the ocean for miles, the only clue to his whereabouts.
"Mummy, Mummy."
His small cries were unheard as his lungs filled with water and he slipped quietly through the rubber life ring into the frothy brine.
"Peter, Peter, where are you?"
